After
each use:
Rinse mouthpiece.
Wipe instrument with cloth,
especially where held.
Occasionally:
Remove mouthpiece, tuning slides,
valve caps and pistons.
Scrub bore with snake and
soapy water, valve casings with
valve brush and mouthpiece with
mouthpiece brush.
Rinse with lukewarm water and
drain.
Do not use any metal polish
or cleaning solution.
Wipe valve casings dry by
pulling a cloth through.
Wash and dry pistons with
cloth (do not use brush).
Handle pistons carefully so
as not to dent or scratch them.
Put 3 drops of valve oil on
each piston.
Reinsert in proper casings-#1
is nearest the mouthpiece.
Apply slide grease to tuning
slides and reinsert.
If mouthpiece gets stuck, do not try
to remove it yourself.
Bring it in-we have a special
tool for that.
Keep instrument in case when not in
use.
Do not store other items in
case that may press on instrument.
If you have a problem with
instrument or case, bring it in
right away-don’t try to fix it
yourself.
Keep your instrument clean
and be careful with it.
