After
each use:
Rinse mouthpiece, wipe instrument
with cloth, especially where held.
Occasionally:
Clean the mouthpiece using dish
soap, warm water and the mouthpiece
brush.
To clean slides, remove inner
slide and wipe off old slide cream.
Flush the slides with warm water.
Clean inside of slides and
mouth pipe with snake, water and
dish soap.
Put the slides together and
slosh the water around inside.
Rinse well.
You can use a cleaning rod
and cloth to dry inside slides. The
inner parts must be completely dry
before you reassemble your trombone.
Apply slide cream on inner
slide and reinsert. Use your spray
bottle to apply water to the slide.
Mix cream and water slide
until it moves freely
Use polish cloth to wipe watermarks
and fingerprints from your trombone
and place it back in your case.
If mouthpiece gets stuck, do not try
to remove it yourself.
Bring it in-we have a special
tool for that.
Keep instrument in case when not in
use.
Do not store other items in
case that may press on instrument.
If you have a problem with
instrument or case, bring it in
right away-don’t try to fix it
yourself.
Keep your instrument clean
and be careful with it.
