TROMBONE CARE...

After each use:

Rinse mouthpiece, wipe instrument with cloth, especially where held.

Occasionally:

Clean the mouthpiece using dish soap, warm water and the mouthpiece brush.  To clean slides, remove inner slide and wipe off old slide cream. Flush the slides with warm water.  Clean inside of slides and mouth pipe with snake, water and dish soap.  Put the slides together and slosh the water around inside.  Rinse well.  You can use a cleaning rod and cloth to dry inside slides. The inner parts must be completely dry before you reassemble your trombone.  Apply slide cream on inner slide and reinsert. Use your spray bottle to apply water to the slide.  Mix cream and water slide until it moves freely

Use polish cloth to wipe watermarks and fingerprints from your trombone and place it back in your case.

If mouthpiece gets stuck, do not try to remove it yourself.  Bring it in-we have a special tool for that.

Keep instrument in case when not in use.  Do not store other items in case that may press on instrument.  If you have a problem with instrument or case, bring it in right away-don’t try to fix it yourself.  Keep your instrument clean and be careful with it.
