After
each use:
Swab inside and
wipe joints.
Remove reed, clean mouthpiece
with cloth.
Keep cap on mouthpiece when
not in use.
Wipe keys carefully.
Never use metal polish or
cleaning solution.
Occasionally:
Scrub mouthpiece
with brush and warm (not hot) soapy
water.
Be careful when assembling
and taking apart – don’t bend keys.
Always use cork grease on
joints.
Don’t force parts together or
apart.
To clean and dry pads, insert
tissue between pad and hole and
press pad.
Keep instrument in
case when not in use.
Do not store other items in
case that may press on the
instrument.
If you have a problem with
the instrument or case, bring it in
right away – don’t try to fix it
yourself.
Keep your instrument clean,
and be careful with it.
