Wipe instrument with cloth, especially where held.
Occasionally:
Remove mouthpiece, tuning slides, valve
caps and pistons.
Scrub bore with snake and soapy water, valve casings
with valve brush and mouthpiece with mouthpiece brush.
Rinse with lukewarm water and drain.
Do not use any metal polish or cleaning solution.
Wipe valve casings dry by pulling a cloth through.
Wash and dry pistons
with cloth (do not use brush).
Handle pistons carefully so as not to dent or scratch
them. Put 3
drops of valve oil on each piston.
Reinsert in proper casings-#1 is nearest the
mouthpiece.
Apply slide grease to tuning slides and reinsert.
If mouthpiece gets stuck, do not try to
remove it yourself.
Bring it in-we have a special tool for that.
Keep instrument in case when not in use.
Do not store other items in case that may press on
instrument. If
you have a problem with instrument or case, bring it in
right way-don’t try to fix it yourself.
Keep your instrument clean and be careful with it.
